CBRE facilitated the sale of 1530 Faraday Ave, a 13,093-square-foot office building in Carlsbad for $4.42 million to Core Contracting, a local company. Matt Pourcho, Anthony DeLorenzo and Matt Harris from CBRE’s Investment Properties team along with Nick Williams, Blake Wilson and Roger Carlson from CBRE represented the private seller in this transaction.

According to Pourcho, there is still strong demand for owner-users in San Diego despite high rental rates. In fact, owning can often be more cost-effective than leasing due to these record-high rents. The team has not seen any slowdown in their owner-user sales.

This Class A single-story building was constructed in 1998 and is located within the Carlsbad Research Center – home to North County’s largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies. It stands out as one of only three buildings under 15
