Recently, Colliers facilitated Clarius Partners’ purchase of a 74.96-acre vacant land parcel on University Parkway in University Park, Illinois. The seller was an individual investor.
The transaction was brokered by Jim Estus and David Bercu from Colliers. Currently, the development is being marketed by the company. According to Kevin Matzke, Managing Partner at Clarius Partners, this opportunity presented a cost-effective way to create a cutting-edge industrial facility in an ideal location for Midwest logistics.
The planned development will be specifically designed for large-scale logistics operations and will include a 970,123-square-foot cross-dock warehouse with features such as 40-foot ceilings and up to 475 trailer stalls. It will also have 162 docks and easy access to major highways.
Once completed, this warehouse will cater to bulk distribution users looking for an efficient and easily accessible logistics hub. The project is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the region through job creation and increased commercial activity.
