Cityview and Greystar Divest Mountain View Apartments for $101M

Cityview and Greystar announced the sale of Elan Mountain View, a 164-unit mixed-use apartment complex that they jointly developed from 2016 to 2018. The property has been rebranded as ARLO Mountain View and was recently acquired by Essex Property Trust for $101 million, according to sources.

CEO of Cityview, Sean Burton stated that Elan Mountain View has received positive feedback from residents and the community due to its prime location, extensive amenities, and unique retail offerings. He also expressed his pleasure in partnering with Greystar on this project.

The property is situated at 1030 Castro St. in Mountain View within a three-mile radius of major Bay Area employers such as Google, Microsoft, and Intuit. It comprises one- to three-bedroom apartments along with fully occupied ground-floor retail space spanning over 11
