CIM Group Focuses on Centennial Yards Office Space

CIM Group is shifting focus as it builds out Phase I of Centennial Yards in Downtown Atlanta. This multi-use 50-acre development is located in The Gulch next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. Originally, the plan included demolishing the former Atlanta Journal Constitution press building and constructing an office tower on the site; however, this component of Centennial Yards has been put on hold while construction continues for a 300 room hotel and second apartment project.

The Lofts at Centennial Yards South opened its doors in 2022 at 125 Spring Street with nearly full occupancy due to its convenient skybridge connection to 99 Ted Turner Drive which was intended for new office space but remains paused until further notice. Despite these changes, one third of Centennial Yard’s project will likely still include some form of office space by 2026.
