Clear Investment Group (CIG), a multifamily real estate investment firm, has successfully closed its Clear Opportunities Fund I with an impressive $83 million in capital raised. The fund attracted a diverse group of investors, including strategic partnerships with a leading Chicago-based alternative asset manager and two prominent state pension funds, as well as several RIAs and family offices.
Launched in December 2022, the Fund is focused on stabilizing distressed workforce housing. “Moving forward,” says CIG CEO Amy Rubenstein, “we are committed to effectively utilizing this capital to generate exceptional returns for our investors.”
COF I currently includes three portfolios located in Louisiana, New York and Ohio. Additionally,CIG is finalizing the acquisition of a property in Washington D.C., after the seller accepted their offer to purchase it for the Fund. Plans are also underway to expand into Ohio through an additional portfolio acquisition.
