### Citymark Church Acquires 99,000-Square-Foot Shopping Center in League City

Citymark Church in League City has expanded its footprint by acquiring a 99,000-square-foot shopping center. Since 2012, the church has occupied space on the western edge of the main retail building at League City Town Plaza. Recently, it took over an additional 16,500 square feet, bringing its total space to 36,740 square feet.

A renovation is currently underway, with Houston-based firms Cre8 Architects and DivisionOne Construction handling the build-out.

According to the *Houston Business Journal*, Citymark Church purchased the property from Prime Real Estate U.S. Properties of Canada for a price exceeding $7 million. James Brockway of Brockway Commercial represented the church in the transaction.

The entire property, located at FM 518/Main Street and State Highway 3, spans approximately 13.6 acres. This includes nearly 3.6 acres of vacant land to the west of the retail center. Currently, the shopping center is 92% occupied.

Citymark Church, which has grown from around 800 to over 2,000 members in recent years, is considering future expansion opportunities within the property as more space becomes available.
