"Chicago Engineering Hub: The Ultimate Social Networking App"

Grindr Inc. has announced the opening of a new office in Chicago, which will serve as their primary global engineering hub. The popular LGBTQ+-focused social networking app attributes strong financial performance as the driving force behind this expansion.

The office, located at 230 W Monroe Street and recently acquired by Menashe Properties, will house most of Grindr’s engineers who are dedicated to enhancing their product for users worldwide. This 29-story West Loop tower spans over 707,000 square feet and was purchased at a discounted price in 2023 by Portland-based Menashe for $45 million with assistance from Nate Grill of @properties.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson expressed enthusiasm about Grindr’s decision to expand its engineering presence in the city known for its diverse business landscape that fosters growth and innovation.
