Personnel moves across the Chicago and broader Midwest commercial real estate landscape include a series of promotions and senior hires spanning brokerage, valuation, investment sales and professional services.
Chicago-based residential real estate firm Cross Street announced four leadership changes. Oren Pollack has been promoted to managing partner, expanding his responsibilities within the firm. Erin Higgins has been elevated to vice president of leasing, and Taylor Maggi has been promoted to vice president of marketing and systems, reflecting an emphasis on leasing execution and platform support. In addition to the internal promotions, Cross Street added Laura Ballou as senior market analyst, bolstering the company’s research and analytics capabilities.
JLL reported two strategic appointments within its Value & Risk Advisory business. Becci Curry joins the firm as Global Head of Strategy, Quality Management & Institutional Lead, taking on a role focused on strategic direction and quality oversight for advisory services. Eric Durden has been named U.S. Head of Value & Risk Advisory, assuming leadership of the unit’s operations and client engagement across the country. Both roles sit within JLL’s valuation- and risk-focused platform serving institutional clients.
Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its multifamily investment sales presence in Minneapolis, adding Chris Collins and Evan Miller as senior directors to the firm’s Minneapolis multifamily investment sales platform. The two senior directors will work alongside existing team members Lance Steiger and Erin Salway. The move is intended to deepen Cushman & Wakefield’s multifamily investment sales capabilities across the Twin Cities and the broader Upper Midwest region.
Hilco Global announced that Ted Tomaras has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer of its Professional Services Division. Tomaras will report to David Kurtz, who serves as Vice Chairman of Hilco Global and Chief Executive Officer of Professional Services. In his new role, Tomaras will oversee operations for the division, with responsibilities that include strengthening operational infrastructure, improving integration across business lines, and supporting scalable growth initiatives.
CBRE reported a senior-level promotion within its Corporate Capital Markets practice. The firm elevated Guy Ponticiello to Vice Chairman, which is described as the highest professional title for producers at CBRE.
