JLL has named Matt Coursen as its new U.S. Healthcare Lead, Leasing Advisory. In this role, he will oversee a team of healthcare specialists across the country, representing occupiers, owners, and investors in healthcare properties.

**CBRE Expands Cleveland Office with New Vice President**
CBRE has announced that Mark Truesdell has joined its Cleveland office as Vice President. He will focus on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of industrial properties throughout the region. Previously, Truesdell served as a Senior Associate at Weston, where he assisted clients with market planning, portfolio strategy, and transaction execution. Before transitioning into real estate, he worked in sales with the Cleveland Cavaliers for eight years and earned an NBA championship ring from the team’s 2016 season.

**Maria Bocanegra Joins Intersect Illinois Board**
Maria Bocanegra, President of Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas, has joined the board of directors at Intersect Illinois. With her extensive experience in the utilities sector and a deep understanding of public-private collaboration in economic development, Bocanegra will contribute to efforts aimed at attracting jobs and investment to Illinois.

**Cohen & Co. Acquires Tassi and Company**
Cohen & Co., a national tax and accounting firm, has announced the acquisition of Tassi and Company, a boutique accounting and consulting firm based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Specializing in services tailored to the real estate industry, Tassi and Company will enhance Cohen & Co.’s national real estate service offerings while expanding its presence in the Chicago market. The transaction is expected to close at the end of March 2025.
