### Brooklyn Prospect Charter School Signs 35-Year Lease at The Wheeler

Tishman Speyer has secured a long-term lease agreement with Brooklyn Prospect Charter School for a new high school campus at The Wheeler, a 10-story development located at 422 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Under the 35-year lease, Brooklyn Prospect will occupy more than 150,000 square feet across three floors.

The new campus will include over 25,000 square feet of outdoor space distributed across all three floors, as well as a dedicated lobby entrance. Additionally, the school plans to build a double-height gymnasium featuring a full-size basketball court.

“We are pleased to welcome Brooklyn Prospect to The Wheeler,” said Chris Shehadeh, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer. “With its prime location, high ceilings, and large flexible floorplates, The Wheeler has proven to be a great fit for some of Brooklyn’s leading educational institutions.”

Brooklyn Prospect Charter School was represented in the lease negotiations by Ross Kaplan and Justin DiMare of Newmark. Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Megan Sheehan, alongside a CBRE team consisting of Mary Ann Tighe, Gerry Miovski, Joe Cirone, Zac Price, and Masha Dudelzak.
