**Charney Companies Closes Carroll Gardens Deal in Just One Week**

Charney Companies has purchased an eight-family home located at 83 Second Place in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn for $4.2 million. The transaction was completed in just one week from contract execution to closing.

“Our Carroll Gardens purchase shows just how nimble Charney Companies can be – to jump on a transaction and close it in such a short time,” noted Sam Charney, principal of Charney Companies.

This acquisition comes as the company continues working on its large-scale Gowanus Wharf campus development. The first building on the site, Union Channel, is nearing full occupancy. Additionally, construction is underway on 95 Rockwell—a new condominium project in nearby Fort Greene.

Conveniently located near transit options, the property at 83 Second Place offers access to the F and G subway lines via the Carroll Street and Smith-9th Street stations. Several bus routes, including the B57 and B61, also provide easy connections to surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods such as Red Hook and Atlantic Terminal, as well as to Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn.
