**AVL Manufacturing to Open First U.S. Facility in Charlotte, Creating Over 325 Jobs**

Canadian industrial manufacturer AVL Manufacturing is making its U.S. debut with the opening of a new mobile machine manufacturing plant in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Hamilton, Ontario-based company will create more than 325 new jobs and invest over $56 million in the project, which will occupy a 232,310-square-foot facility in the Steele Creek submarket.

The future operations site is located at 13006 Sam Neely Road within Westinghouse Logistics Park in southwest Charlotte. The facility is owned by LBA Logistics, which purchased the nearly 19-acre property from The Keith Corp. in 2022 for $8.7 million.

AVL Manufacturing specializes in the production of custom industrial enclosures for large-format standby power generators. These enclosures provide solutions for ensuring reliable backup power across a variety of critical-use industries, including large and hyperscale data centers. The new U.S. operation, AVL USA, represents a significant expansion for the Canadian company.

Leasing efforts for Westinghouse Logistics Park are being led by Avison Young on behalf of LBA Logistics.
