Charlestown Mixed-Use Urban Campus Completes Construction

Hood Park, a Class A mixed-use development in Charlestown, Boston has reached its topping off point. Upon completion, the 20-acre urban campus will boast 1.8 million square feet of office and laboratory space, 100,000 square feet of retail space and 335 residential units.

Located near Kendall Square and Assembly Row this campus offers amenities such as retail vendors as well as over an acre of publicly accessible green space for hosting community events like summer beer gardens or Spring Festivals.

Designed by SMAA the tower addition at 100 Hood Park Drive adds five stories to the building totaling 186,000 square feet when finished making it stand 13 stories tall with 287 thousand total square footage dedicated to lab work offices and retail spaces combined .
