"Change of Ownership for Boutique Offices with Mountain Views"

Newmark facilitated the sale of a boutique, Class A office building situated at 700 East El Camino Real in Mountain View. The undisclosed buyer and seller were represented by a team including executive vice chairman and president of Western region capital markets Steven Golubchik, vice chairman Edmund Najera, senior managing director Jonathan Schaefler, and managing director Darren Hollak. The 50,547-square-foot building was sold for an undisclosed amount.

According to Najera, this deal presented a rare opportunity to acquire a recently renovated office property at a significant discount compared to its replacement cost. With minimal future capital requirements and potential for substantial growth in value, the property garnered strong interest from investors – particularly those with high-net-worth resources. This transaction marks the transfer of ownership for these sought-after offices in Mountain View.
