"CEO of Urban Renaissance Group Resigns: A Shift in Leadership"

Urban Renaissance Group, a leading commercial real estate firm, has announced that its founder and CEO Pat Callahan will be transitioning into a new role while remaining on the URG Board. Taking over as CEO at the end of 2024 will be Matthew Simo, who currently serves as URG’s president and Chief Investment Officer since joining the company in 2006.

Simo expressed his honor in stepping into this new position, stating that Callahan’s exceptional leadership has been instrumental in URG’s success for nearly two decades. He looks forward to continuing this legacy and driving URG towards an exciting future.

Before joining URG, Simo gained experience at Trizec Properties in Chicago and currently sits on the Real Estate Advisory Board at University of Washington’s Runstad Department. Meanwhile, Callahan brings with him years of expertise from his previous roles at Equity Office Properties Trust where he oversaw significant business units across multiple cities including Seattle, Bellevue Portland,and Denver.
