**CenterPoint Expands with Strategic Investment in Atlanta Industrial Facility**
Oak Brook-based CenterPoint Properties has made a significant move into the Atlanta market with the acquisition of a rear-load industrial facility located at 4795 Innovative Way in Powder Springs, Georgia. The 347,013-square-foot building was completed in the third quarter of 2024 and was fully leased to two tenants by the end of the year.
The off-market transaction was brokered by CBRE National Partners.
“Atlanta is a market we’re enthusiastic about and focused on for its strong fundamentals and because it’s a natural extension of the Savannah market, where CenterPoint owns and manages 24 assets totaling nearly four million square feet,” said Jeremy Rosenbaum of CenterPoint Properties.
Strategically situated just 3 miles from a Norfolk Southern intermodal terminal and 14 miles from I-285 via I-20, the facility offers excellent connectivity to Atlanta’s highway system and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The property occupies only 21 percent of its 36-acre lot, providing surface parking for 210 cars along with space for 77 trailers and additional growth potential.
