DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its Capital Markets Group. The group opened its Costa Mesa office in the second quarter of 2022 and has completed transactions totaling $100 million.
Michael Collins, vice chairman and director of the group, said: “Our team specializes in identifying and positioning creative deal opportunities for our institutional and high-net-worth clients. In 2022, we identified an opportunity to take advantage of increasing industrial demand which caused a 81.7% increase in Orange County’s transaction volume during Q3.”
Collins added that certain commercial asset groups have experienced declines early this year due to rising interest rates impacting values, volumes, and investor appetite; however he remains optimistic about future prospects with industrial sector remaining strong.
