### Cedar Park Retail Center to Feature 300-Room Marriott Hotel
Great Lakes Capital, in collaboration with NFM and the city of Cedar Park, has announced plans for a full-service Marriott hotel and convention center as part of a major development at 750 E. New Hope Drive. The hotel will accompany a large Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) at the site.
The Marriott hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, 30,000 square feet of event and meeting space, a full-service restaurant, a breakfast café, and a spacious pool area. Construction is scheduled to begin in May, with the hotel expected to open in early 2027.
Additionally, a 240,000-square-foot Scheels sporting goods store is set to open in late 2026, while the 1.1 million-square-foot NFM is planned for a 2027 debut. The development will also include at least 700,000 square feet of warehouse space and 250,000 square feet of retail.
To support the project, the city has provided $45 million in incentives. The development is projected to generate $435 million in new tax revenue for Cedar Park within its first 25 years of operation.
