Cedar Park and RedLeaf Collaborate on Downtown Development Plan

Cedar Park, in collaboration with RedLeaf, a prominent development firm, is working towards the creation of the Bell District. This 54-acre mixed-use project will be located off Bell Boulevard.

According to Community Impact’s reports from 2015 to 2018, Cedar Park has acquired over 50 acres of land for this project. The area is now known as the Bell District and its master plan includes various components such as a new city library, an outdoor space called “the backyard” featuring a playground and event area, multifamily units, retail shops and dining options,and office spaces.

To accommodate visitors’ vehicles,the district will have public parking garages integrated into some residential and retail buildings. Upon completion,the development is expected to offer around1 ,200-1 ,500 apartments.

The next phase of construction,is set to begin in mid-next year (2025)and it will take approximately18-24 months for completion.The town officials along with the developer aim for an opening date in2027.The entire Phase I build-out should be finalized within five to seven years.
