CBRE has elevated Chris Schastok to vice chairman, the firm's highest producer title, recognizing his work within the Site Selection & Incentives group in the Advisory Services Practice. Based in Chicago, Schastok has spent more than 13 years helping corporate clients align business objectives with site selection strategies and economic incentive negotiations, coordinating these efforts with broader real estate planning and execution. His work spans corporate headquarters, food production, manufacturing and distribution center projects, where he has negotiated billions of dollars in incentives on behalf of occupier clients.
In the greater Ann Arbor area, Oxford Companies reported several leadership updates as it continues to grow its commercial real estate platform. The firm hired Neal Warling as director of sales and leasing, tasking him with helping lead brokerage activities and working closely with property owners, investors, tenants and corporate users. Oxford also promoted three long-serving leaders: Joe Mifsud to chief operating officer, Katie Vohwinkle to senior vice president of operations, and Mike Van Patten to senior vice president of asset management, formalizing an experienced management bench across operations and asset oversight.
PREMIER Design + Build Group added talent to its construction operations with the appointment of David Lewis as general superintendent in the company's Columbus, Ohio, office. Lewis will provide field leadership for PREMIER's Ohio operations, overseeing day-to-day project execution while supporting safety, quality, operational excellence and the development of field teams. He brings more than 40 years of construction experience, including over three decades in field management and leadership roles.
CenterPoint Properties expanded its executive leadership team by naming Ross Straseske executive vice president and chief financial officer. In his role, Straseske leads the firm's finance organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, corporate and property valuation processes, capital and liquidity management, and reporting to CenterPoint's executive team, board of directors and ownership. He joined CenterPoint in 2021 as development controller after previously serving as vice president of data reporting and financial analytics at Heitman.
On the transaction front, Entre Commercial Realty completed the sale of a 25,000-square-foot industrial flex building on 2.29 acres at 2449 Pierce Dr. in Spring Grove, Illinois. The multi-tenant asset is configured into five units and was fully leased at the time of sale, indicating stabilized occupancy at closing. Representation in the transaction included Rick Delisle of RD Strategic on behalf of the purchaser, while Kevin Kaplan of Entre Commercial Realty represented the seller.
