CBRE has successfully arranged the pre-lease of a new warehouse development by Prologis, located at 1919 Williams St. in San Leandro. The tenant, Torani, a renowned flavor manufacturer, will be relocating its warehouse and distribution operations from its current headquarters at 2000 Marina Blvd. to this state-of-the-art facility which is expected to be completed by late 2024.
Represented by CBRE’s Bob Ferraro and David Black, Torani’s decision to lease this facility was driven by its strategic location near major transportation hubs and potential for business growth. Cushman & Wakefield’s John McManus also played a key role in representing Prologis during the negotiation process.
Ferraro expressed his satisfaction with working alongside Torani for over 15 years as they moved from San Francisco to South San Francisco before settling in their current headquarters in San Leandro. He further highlighted that the scarcity of large industrial properties like this one makes it an attractive option for businesses looking for quality spaces within Oakland’s tight industrial market characterized by aging facilities and power limitations.
