### Seattle’s Hotel Sector Poised for Record-High Growth in 2025
Seattle’s hotel and hospitality sectors are on track for a record-breaking year, according to a recent report by CBRE. The firm forecasts that revenue per available room (RevPAR) in Seattle will reach an all-time high in 2025, driven by increased business travel, major sporting events, and the completion of a new waterfront development.
RevPAR is projected to reach $131.69 in 2025, marking a 2.7% increase from 2024 and surpassing the national average growth rate of 2%. The city is also expected to see a modest supply increase of 2.3% and a demand increase of 2.2%, fueled by several planned events that will attract travelers.
“Hotel demand in Seattle increased at the end of 2024 and is off to a good start this year,” said Alan Jutte, vice president with CBRE’s Hotels Valuation & Advisory group. “The completion of the new Overlook Walk, which connects Pike Place Market to the waterfront, along with the impending completion of the Waterfront Park project, will significantly expand Seattle’s leisure offerings.”
With these factors in play, Seattle’s hospitality sector is poised for a historic year of growth and tourism activity.
