CBRE, a leading commercial real estate firm, has successfully arranged 15 office leases totaling nearly 105,000 square feet at Peabody Plaza in St. Louis. The Class A office tower spans over 400,000 square feet and is owned by New York-based Briar Meads Capital.
Rick Messey and Whitney Allen of CBRE represented ownership in the lease negotiations. According to Allen, these new leases are excellent additions to Peabody Plaza and demonstrate the high demand for space within the tower in recent years. She also noted that this demand can be attributed to ownership’s commitment to maintaining the building while implementing various renovations since purchasing it.
Since its acquisition by Briar Meads Capital, occupancy at Peabody Plaza has increased from 70% in 2020 to over 85% as of early-2024.
