Castle Automotive Acquires Pugi Auto Group to Expand Business

Castle Automotive Group (CAG), an automotive dealership group headquartered in Oak Brook, IL, has acquired the Pugi Auto Group for an undisclosed sum. Founded by Dominic Pugliani over four decades ago, the acquisition of Pugi Auto marks a significant milestone for Castle as it expands its brand footprint to include Hyundai, Genesis and Mazda buyers in addition to adding another Volkswagen dealership.

Joe Castle, CEO of CAG stated that his executive team is “100% committed” to their vision of accelerated growth through acquisitions such as this one which fit their model well. The expansion takes CAG’s total number of dealerships up to 18 rooftops and 26 new car franchises across both Illinois and Northwestern Indiana.
