**Capital Square Acquires Woodland Cottages, an Active Adult BTR Community in Fredericksburg, TX**
Capital Square, a prominent sponsor of tax-advantaged real estate investments, has acquired Woodland Cottages, a build-to-rent (BTR) community located in Fredericksburg, Texas. The 62-unit property was purchased on behalf of CS1031 Texas Active Adult Living I, DST, a Delaware statutory trust launched to raise equity from accredited investors. The project was developed by The Carbon Companies.
Situated at 161 Friendship Lane in historic Fredericksburg, Woodland Cottages is designed with the needs of active adults in mind. The community features ADA-compliant rental homes, each offering aging-in-place features such as zero-threshold showers and accessible floor plans. Residents also benefit from an array of community amenities, including a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse hosting weekly activities, a swimming pool, fitness center, and a dedicated concierge service aimed at fostering a vibrant and socially connected lifestyle.
