Capital Repairs for 1,500 Bronx Residents: PACT Partner Team to Invest $246M

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is set to undertake $246 million in capital repairs for nearly 1,500 residents at Moore Houses and East 152nd Street-Courtlandt Avenue through the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program. Mega Group Development and Brisa Builders have been selected as co-developers after review and engagement with residents.

The comprehensive repairs will cover 684 apartments across four buildings at the Bronx developments. The project includes apartment and building assessments, rehabilitation, property management, as well as social service plans. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024.

Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development & Workforce Maria Torres-Springer commented: “NYCHA tenants deserve quality homes; these critical improvements to Moore Houses & East 152nd Street-Courtlandt Avenue will make that dream a reality.”
