Capital Fund Management Relocates NYC Offices to Plaza District

Capital Fund Management (CFM), a Paris-based global systematic hedge fund with more than $19 billion in assets under management, has signed a long-term lease to relocate its New York City offices to 510 Madison Avenue in Manhattan’s prestigious Plaza District. The firm will move from its current location in the iconic Chrysler Building and will occupy 23,000 square feet across the entire 28th and 29th floors. Move-in is expected in March 2026.

Lee & Associates NYC represented CFM in the transaction, with Richard Plehn and Lisa Ann Pollakowski leading the assignment. The landlord, BXP, Inc., was represented in-house by Heather Kahn and Will Stark.

“CFM chose to move from the iconic Chrysler Building in pursuit of a more central financial district location within a modern building,” said Lisa Ann Pollakowski, Executive Managing Director at Lee NYC. “While 510 Madison Ave. offered many attractive features, the abundance of natural light and the reputation of the landlord were key factors in their decision.”

The move reflects a broader trend of financial firms seeking updated office environments in central locations that align with both operational and aesthetic priorities.
