Callen-Lorde Community Health Center Expands Lease in Bronx

Cushman & Wakefield, a leading real estate firm, recently facilitated a lease expansion for Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in the Bronx. The primary care center has increased its space from 2,903 square feet to 12,916 square feet by occupying the entire ground and second floors at 3144 Third Avenue.

Tenant representatives Carri Lyon and Jenna Catalon of Cushman & Wakefield worked with landlord representative David Lebenstein of BOOM! Community Services to secure this deal. The property underwent recent capital improvements such as new windows and renovated office spaces.

According to Patrick McGovern, CEO of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center: “Expanding our presence in the Bronx will allow us to meet the growing demand for LGBTQ+ affirming medical and behavioral health services in this borough.” He added that their organization has been a leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare for over five decades and will continue to grow along with community needs.
