According to the Newsom administration, California added 14,700 new jobs in September. This brings the average number of new jobs per month this year to 16,500, surpassing both 2023’s monthly average of 12,900 and last year’s annualized pace of growth.
In addition to job growth, there was also an increase in employed Californians compared to the previous year. However, there was also a rise in unemployed Californians.
