**Latham & Watkins LLP** has announced that Tom Lee has joined its Bay Area offices as a partner in the Environment, Land & Resources Practice. Lee brings significant expertise advising clients on chemical regulatory issues, particularly per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). He also handles the environmental aspects of complex mergers and acquisitions, as well as real estate transactions with a focus on brownfield acquisition and redevelopment.
**Christian Palmer** has joined **Savills** as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions within its Global Occupier Services practice. Based in Orange County, Palmer transitions from Colliers, where he led large-scale multiservice pursuits and managed a substantial global occupier pipeline as SVP of Occupier Services – Enterprise Client Solutions.
The **Urban Land Institute (ULI) Orange County/Inland Empire** has named **Rob Reitenour** as its District Council Chair for 2025–2026. Reitenour, who currently serves as Senior Vice President at Lowe Enterprises, brings over three decades of experience in real estate development and management to the role.
**Gio Aliano, AIA**, has joined **NAC Architecture** as Principal and Affordable Housing Practice Leader. Aliano brings over 30 years of experience, with a strong background in shaping equitable communities through affordable and supportive housing, as well as educational and health facilities. He previously served as SVP of Abode Communities and was principal of the firm’s architecture studio.
**One Workplace**, headquartered in Santa Clara and a leading provider of integrated workplace solutions, has appointed **Dave Albert** as its new CEO. Albert succeeds Mark Baker, who guided the firm through substantial growth and will assist in the leadership transition before retiring later this year.
**Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.**, along with its strategic venture platform **Alexandria Venture Investments**, has received the 2025 Charles A. Sanders, MD, Partnership Award from the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH). The award celebrates Alexandria’s pivotal role in supporting biomedical innovation and fostering a public-private partnership with FNIH to advance precision medicine for depression.
**ExchangeRight**, a prominent provider of diversified real estate REIT and DST investments, has fully subscribed its Essential Income 4 DST. The $28.85 million net-leased portfolio includes eight properties across four states, totaling 88,851 square feet. Tenants include Sprouts Farmers Market, Dollar General, CVS Pharmacy, and Advance Auto Parts.
