JLL successfully arranges $11.8 million refinancing for 2909 Oliver, a student housing community in Wichita, Kansas near Wichita State University. The borrower, Calidus, was represented by JLL and secured a five-year fixed-rate loan through Freddie Mac Multifamily with servicing provided by JLL Real Estate Capital LLC.
The Senior Director of the JLL Capital Markets Debt Advisory team Dan Kearns led the transaction along with Closer Patricia Heminger and Analysts Dave Hunter and Katia Novi. According to Kearns, the strong sponsorship and impressive property performance since its acquisition by Calidus ten years ago allowed for attractive financing options from Freddie Mac.
Managed by The Preiss Company, this 2008-built property offers two-bedroom and three-bedroom units located at 2909 N Oliver St., less than a mile from campus at Wichita State University and six miles from downtown Wichita.
