BWE Secures $70.9 Million in Loans for Multifamily Developments in North Carolina and Georgia
BWE, a leading commercial real estate firm, has successfully secured two loans totaling $70.9 million to refinance two multifamily developments located in Charlotte, NC and Marietta, Georgia.
The loans were obtained by BWE’s Atlanta office on behalf of Westplan Investors for their 304-unit mid-rise development known as Accent Southrail and RPM Living for their 280-unit Sedgefield Apartments. The non-recourse loans were secured through one of BWE’s top correspondent life company lenders.
Led by Alan Tapie, Thomas Wiedeman, Brad Walker and Hanley Long from the Atlanta office team at BWE worked diligently to secure these favorable loan terms which include a three-year fixed-rate term with flexible prepayment options.
Accent Southrail is situated at 6026 Station Crossing Avenue within the desirable Lower South End neighborhood of Charlotte while Sedgefield Apartments can be found at 1136 W. Commons Lane in Marietta. Both properties offer an array of amenities such as pools and fitness centers that cater to residents’ needs.
