Build a $650 Million fairlife Production Facility in Upstate NY: Coca-cola to Open in Monroe

The Coca-Cola Company has chosen New York State, specifically the Town of Webster in Monroe County, as the preferred location for a new fairlife production facility. Covering 745,000 square feet and estimated to cost $650 million in total investment, this project is expected to create up to 250 jobs with construction anticipated for fall 2021 and operational status by fourth quarter 2025.

Governor Kathy Hochul commented on this decision: “This marks the next chapter in New York’s agricultural success story.” Founded in 2012, fairlife specializes in ultra-filtered milk products with reduced lactose and sugar content; The Coca-Cola Company became a strategic partner of fairlife since its inception before acquiring it completely 2020.
