A multi-phase, mixed-use development is in the works at the northern entrance of downtown Bryan by OFL Group. The first phase is expected to commence in 2025 and be completed by 2027, featuring a five-story upscale hotel with 130 rooms and modern meeting spaces. A parking structure for up to 340 vehicles will also be built during this phase.
The second phase, set for completion in 2029, will introduce a six-story residential building with underground parking for up to 400 vehicles.
In the final stage of development, another six-story structure will be added which may include condominium units and office space.
To support this project’s success, the city has agreed to assist with infrastructure improvements such as street closures and conveyances. Additionally, they have committed to providing grants and rebates on hotel occupancy taxes as incentives for OFL Group if they meet specific construction timelines and property value assessments.
