Todd Glaskin and Gregg Leppo, both from Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty, successfully facilitated the sale of 1093 Beacon St. in Brookline for $6.2 million. The property is a 14,000-plus square-foot office building and was one of the few remaining full brownstones available for purchase along Beacon Street.
According to Glaskin, this corner location is highly desirable as it is just one block away from where Brookline meets Boston and within walking distance to Fenway Park and the Longwood Medical Area. He also mentioned that their extensive marketing efforts attracted offers from various interested parties.
Glaskin represented the sellers – Mark Blotner of Kinross Real Estate LLC and Lloyd Rosenthal of Greenline Realty LLC – while Leppo assisted in procuring Matt Ramey as the buyer. Ramey is a local developer who owns Concept Properties.
Blotner and Rosenthal are well-known real estate investors in Brookline who purchased this building back in 2005 for $2.5 million with plans to develop it into a long-term residential property while utilizing it as an office space until then.
