Brodsky Converting Flatiron Building into Condos

The Flatiron Building in New York City is set to undergo a transformation as The Brodsky Organization, The Sorgente Group, and GFP Real Estate have joined forces in a joint venture. This partnership will revitalize the historic building into residential units under the management of The Brodsky Organization. Designed by Daniel Burnham and completed in 1902, the Flatiron Building is an iconic landmark that holds great significance to New York City’s architectural legacy.

In early 2024, the new ownership group plans to seek necessary approvals for this conversion project while preserving the building’s distinct presence on the city skyline. Acting as broker and advisor for The Sorgente Group and GFP Real Estate was Newmark’s Adam Spies, Doug Harmon, and Adam Doneger who facilitated this transaction with The Brodsky Organization.

This development marks an exciting chapter for one of NYC’s most recognizable buildings without mentioning any specific organizations involved.
