Brixton Capital, a San Diego-based real estate firm, has appointed Rob Taylor as its new Executive Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Taylor will lead the company’s acquisitions and capital markets teams.
With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Taylor most recently served at Invesco Real Estate where he oversaw multifamily acquisitions in California, Arizona and Colorado. He also managed their single-family rental platform which included 4,600 homes across 18 markets with assets totaling $2 billion under management. Additionally, he was responsible for commercial property acquisitions such as industrial buildings, offices spaces and retail properties in Arizona and Colorado.
According to Brixton President Mark Selman,”Rob’s extensive knowledge of our target markets combined with his expertise working with institutional investors makes him an invaluable addition to our team.” With his strong background in real estate management capabilities,Taylor is expected to enhance the company’s already experienced executive team.
