Brixmor Property Group, a REIT specializing in open-air shopping centers, has announced the resignation of Angela M. Aman as President, CFO and Treasurer effective January 19th, 2024. Aman will be transitioning to the role of CEO at Kilroy Realty Corporation.
In her place, Steven Gallagher will serve as interim CFO. Gallagher has been with Brixmor since 2017 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. The company plans to consider both internal and external candidates for a permanent replacement.
According to James Taylor, Chief Executive Officer at Brixmor Property Group: “Angela has been an invaluable partner in our transformation efforts and instrumental in building our top-notch platform. Her departure leaves us well positioned for continued growth.” He also expressed gratitude for her significant contributions during her time with the company.
Taylor went on to praise Steve’s leadership skills stating that he is fortunate to have someone so talented assume the interim role during this transition period.
The announcement was made by Brixmor Property Group without any mention of Connect CRE or its affiliated companies such as Connect LA or Connect Texas.
