Bridge Industrial Acquires Development Site in I-55 Submarket

Bridge Industrial has recently acquired a prime 22-acre site at the intersection of Route 53 and Joliet Road. This strategic location will be home to the upcoming “Bridge Point I-55 Commerce Center.”

The company plans to construct two state-of-the-art Class A industrial facilities, spanning over 292,011 square feet on a speculative basis. The site was purchased by Orange Crush, LLC based in Chicagoland. NAI Hiffman’s Dan Leahy facilitated the sale and will also serve as the leasing agent for this development.

According to Partner Jon Pozerycki of Bridge Industrial, there is high demand for industrial space in Chicago with record-low vacancy rates especially in supply-constrained submarkets like I-55 Corridor where Bridge has significant presence.

The modern Bridge Point I-55 Commerce Center will comprise of two warehouses – Building A (120,011 sq ft) and Building B (172,000 sq ft). The project includes ample trailer parking space with LEED Certified standards incorporated into its design.
