**Breakthrough Properties and Eli Lilly Launch Lilly Gateway Labs in Philadelphia**
Breakthrough Properties has announced a strategic partnership with Eli Lilly to launch Lilly Gateway Labs at Breakthrough, located at 2300 Market Street in Philadelphia. Breakthrough Properties, a joint venture between Tishman Speyer and Bellco Capital, developed the state-of-the-art facility.
The new laboratory space spans 44,000 square feet across the first and second floors of the building. Designed to support emerging life sciences ventures, Lilly Gateway Labs at Breakthrough is outfitted with high-end features including cold storage, centrifuges, and other advanced laboratory equipment. On-site amenities include concierge services, lab operations support, and dock management.
“Our partnership with Lilly Gateway Labs at 2300 Market will facilitate and accelerate the emergence of the next generation of great Philadelphia life science companies,” said Daniel D’Orazi, Chief Investment Officer of Breakthrough Properties.
The facility is strategically located adjacent to leading academic institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, as well as the University City life science cluster and several academic medical centers. Its position also offers convenient access to Center City, with numerous nearby amenities including restaurants, cafes, and boutique fitness centers.
