MHG Hotels recently acquired the 94-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Boca Raton for $15.5 million and has already begun plans for a complete renovation of the property. The company has allocated $5 million towards both interior and exterior upgrades to enhance the hotel’s overall appeal.
The hotel, located at 1455 W. Yamato Road, was previously owned by Hospitality Investors Trust and sold for an impressive price of $164,894 per room. According to reports from the S.Florida Business Journal, it was last sold in 2015 for $12.89 million. Spanning over 48,433 square feet on a spacious 1.7-acre site, this hotel was originally built in 1996 and features amenities such as a pool area, fitness center,and business center.
In addition to this recent acquisition,MHG Hotels also purchased another property – Courtyard by Marriott West Palm Beach Airport – back in November of2023.Additionally,the company currently owns Fairfield Inn & Suites locatedin Deerfield Beach,making them one ofthe leading hospitality companiesin South Florida.
