Billionaires from Silicon Valley Plan to Construct a City in Solano County

For years, the mystery behind the acquisition of thousands of acres in Solano County had remained unsolved. However, reports from Los Angeles Times and other sources have revealed that an entity known as Flannery Associates has purchased 55,000 acres for upwards of $800 million with Silicon Valley tech billionaires among its backers. The goal is to construct at least one city and possibly more on this land located next to Travis Air Force Base.

Last week a survey was sent out to area residents inquiring their opinion on “a new city with tens of thousands of new homes, a large solar energy farm, orchards with over a million new trees and over ten thousand acres of parks and open space” according to the Times report. This land was previously restricted by state conservation program for agricultural purposes only but Flannery Associates seeks rezoning which requires approval from multiple state agencies as well as county officials who told the Times that it would not be easy process involving voting by local residents alone .
U.S Representatives John Garamendi (who represents this region) alongwith Mike Thompson were approached last week by representatives from Flannery Associates seeking meetings while simultaneously sending out surveys asking locals about their opinion regarding building plans in Solano County . Congressman Garamendi said he had been trying hard since long time ,alongwith other officials ,to find out who was behind these acquisitions but all efforts went futile until now when everything came into light following recent developments .
