A capital markets debt and structured finance veteran, Bill Fishel, has joined Newmark as Executive Vice Chairman. With a focus on raising debt and equity capital for institutional-grade assets and developments across North America, Fishel specializes in permanent, bridge, construction mezzanine financing as well as joint venture equity financing. Over the course of his 14-year career he has successfully executed more than $15 billion in financings.
Fishel is based out of Newmark’s Century City office located in Los Angeles where he will be working alongside Ramsey Daya and David Milestone from the Debt Equity Structured Finance group along with co-head of U.S Capital Markets Kevin Shannon to contribute to ongoing growth within the company’s services offerings. Prior to joining Newmark Fishel served at JLL where he was a senior managing director and co-head of their Los Angeles office while also being part of their Expanded Executive Committee for Capital Markets team .
