Finegold Alexander Architects, a Boston-based firm, has been selected to lead the design and construction of the Beverly City Hall renovation in Beverly, Massachusetts. The building was originally constructed in 1785 and converted to its current use as city hall in 1841. Working with the City of Beverly and Colliers Project Leaders, Finegold Alexander will reconfigure this historic facility for 21st-century needs by housing most city departments with public access along with current and future operational space requirements.

Jeff Garriga, principal at Finegold Alexander expressed his enthusiasm for rejuvenating this iconic structure: “We look forward to transforming it into an innovative yet accessible building that is both sustainable and efficient for the community of Beverly.” To achieve these goals they plan on implementing design elements that reduce energy consumption while pursuing clean renewable energy projects.
