Berkadia, a leading commercial real estate company, has successfully arranged financing and equity for Legacy Park in Brownsburg, Indiana. The garden-style walk-up apartment community consists of 250 units and was built in 2009.
Cody Kirkpatrick, Noam Franklin, and Chinmay Bhatt from Berkadia JV Equity & Structured Capital secured $13 million in institutional equity to support Wilkinson Corporation’s acquisition of the property. Additionally, Richard Levine from Berkadia Atlanta helped secure a $29.947 million loan through Freddie Mac on behalf of the buyer.
Kirkpatrick stated that their client Wilkinson Corporation has a strong track record in acquiring multifamily properties within the Indianapolis MSA region. He also mentioned that their team is actively sourcing equity for experienced sponsors and have seen significant interest from institutional investors for select markets in the Midwest.
Legacy Park is located at 6750 Legacy Park Drive and offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans to its residents. This successful financing deal by Berkadia showcases their expertise as well as market demand for quality multifamily assets within this region.
