Berkadia Finalizes Sale of 200-Unit Multifamily Property in Kirkland, WA
Berkadia has successfully completed the sale of Vue Kirkland, a 200-unit garden-style multifamily community located in Kirkland, Washington.
The transaction was led by Berkadia Seattle’s team including Managing Directors David Sorensen and Benjamin Johnson, Director George Pallis, Associate Director Peter Dudunakis, and Senior Managing Director Kenny Dudunakis. The seller in the transaction was California-based Acacia Capital.
The buyer, BRIDGE Housing, acquired Vue Kirkland as part of its ongoing strategy to increase the availability of low-income housing across the West Coast. This acquisition represents BRIDGE Housing’s largest market-rate conversion to date. Vue Kirkland, located at 11733 NE 131st Place, offers residents convenient access to major employers in the Eastside technology corridor.
“This property is poised to leverage the distinctive qualities and economic expansion of the Eastside, along with its value-add potential,” said Sorensen. “Vue Kirkland stands out as a remarkable garden-style community, uniquely situated within walking distance of the newly developed Totem Lake.”
This sale marks a significant step in Berkadia’s continued presence in the Seattle-area multifamily investment market.
