Berkadia Secures $34M Refinancing for Assisted Living Community in Bozeman

Berkadia has announced the successful refinancing of Bozeman Lodge, an independent and assisted living community located in Bozeman, Montana.

The financing was arranged by a team from Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare, including Managing Directors Ed Williams, Steve Muth, and Austin Sacco, Senior Director Garrett Sacco, and AVP Alec Rosenfeld. The loan was secured through a debt fund on behalf of Radiant Senior Living, an Oregon-based owner-operator.

The $34 million, 2.5-year loan features interest-only payments throughout the life of the loan and includes additional proceeds designated for capital improvements to the property. “Bozeman Lodge is a high-quality community in a dynamic market, and this refinancing provides the ownership with flexible capital to execute their business plan and continue enhancing the resident experience,” said Steve Muth.

Bozeman Lodge is located at 1547 N Hunters Way in the heart of Gallatin Valley. The community is situated in the city that is home to Montana State University and is less than 90 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. The property offers one- and two-bedroom private apartments as well as two-bedroom cottages, catering to both independent and assisted living residents.
