Benchmark Senior Living JV Acquires Fairfield County Property
A joint venture between Benchmark Senior Living and National Development has acquired Church Hill Village, an assisted living and memory care community in Newtown, Connecticut. The property, located at 2 The Boulevard near the intersection of I-84 and Route 6, has been renamed Benchmark at Newtown and features 71 apartments. Benchmark will oversee operations of the community.
The acquisition was financed by Webster Bank and follows recent partnerships between Benchmark and National Development, including a newly developed senior living facility in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, and the acquisition of a similar property in Smithtown, New York.
“Church Hill Village has built an excellent reputation over the past five years,” said Tom Grape, founder, chairman, and CEO of Benchmark. “Benchmark is excited to be serving more seniors and families in Fairfield and the surrounding area – providing the high-quality care and services Benchmark is known for.”
Benchmark currently operates nine communities across Fairfield County.
