**Benchmark Senior Living and National Development Acquire Senior Housing Community in Vermont**

A joint venture between Benchmark Senior Living and National Development has acquired The Village at White River Junction, an 80-apartment assisted living and memory care community located in White River Junction, Vermont, near the New Hampshire border. Benchmark Senior Living will oversee operations at the facility.

Though the sale price has not been disclosed, financing for the transaction was provided by M&T Bank. This acquisition represents National Development’s first foray into the senior living market in Vermont. Benchmark, meanwhile, continues to grow its regional footprint, currently operating six communities throughout New Hampshire, as well as The Arbors at Shelburne in Shelburne, Vermont.

“The Village at White River Junction is a very special community and we feel honored to work together with its experienced associates to usher in this new chapter,” said Tom Grape, founder, chairman, and CEO of Benchmark Senior Living.

Strategically located within walking distance of the Connecticut River, Main Street, and White River Junction’s historic district, the community spans 87,000 square feet across five floors, offering a range of amenities tailored to senior care and memory support.
