CBRE has expanded its advisory and transaction services group in Washington, D.C. with the addition of executive vice president Ben Plaisted and senior vice president Greg Scheipers. The experienced duo, formerly from Savills, will specialize in advising occupier clients both locally and globally.
Plaisted brings over 20 years of experience to CBRE and was recently recognized as the recipient of CREBA’s 2019 regional Transaction of the Year award for deals under 75,000 square feet. As co-regional manager at Savills’ D.C. office, he successfully led their advisory and business development efforts across the Greater Washington area while overseeing a team of more than 60 brokers.
With a career spanning over 15 years in commercial real estate, Scheipers has completed transactions totaling more than 1.5 million square feet throughout his time at Savills where he started as an associate director before earning multiple promotions to eventually become an executive managing director.
